finally, day 1 of block leave... hmm well not exactly cause it just ended an hour ago but let not mind the minor detail....
haha my poor blog, i have been away for a long long time due to many reasons but the point is i'm finally back =)
for good or bad i wont know, only time will tell....
for a time span of 1 year++ i'm sure that it would be a wonderful experience for me to try and recall all those little details and try to spill them out here as much and as vivid as i can =)
but i will not =(
cause it will probably take me longer to just try to remember all the stuff i did.... nevertheless i'll try my best though it'll make me sound very old
ahhh.... looking back now, school life feels great... get to see all your friends, move slowly and sleep anywhere also can... it was just very leisurely. you have the power to do things at your own pace. you get the freedom. Unfortunately, at that point of time none of us( guys) had apperciate our life back then.... hiaz.... but well who would... it just sad that at that point in time, we dont care... its only when you experience something worst, something else that breaks your comfort zone, an external stress, that you will start to regret and cherish what you had....
when you are hot, you wish for it to be cold....
when you are bored, you wish to be busy..... hiazzz
well that was a random start... but jc life was definately fun and rough and tough... it felt like it ended just not too far back and then enlistment date was just round the corner.... oh ya rmb all the gatherings that i had before enlistment.... all the etc etc gatherings hahaha... good times those were.... then there was the double chalet HAHAHA tkd and 4B chalet wah that was a rush for me man... its those fun times that i really miss the most now....
but well, now enters my bmtc life (basic military training centre). Well i cant say much here cause i also donno what can be said and what shouldnt be said... for most people, they will just dread army life, that includes me as well.... but, what i did was to try my best in everything that i did ans to make full use of my bmtc life... i didnt want to just waste my life away in army... so i worked hard and push myself as hard as i could then... for the first time, i saw what i thought was my limits back them and broke through them.... one notable achivement of mine was my 2.4... never once in my life did i smell a under 10min timing for 2.4 before and then the first time i ran in tekong, my timing was 11.55 but then by the 2nd time it was 10.30 =) i just pushed myself and told myself not to stop and never give up... all these manifested in my last 2.4 which was clocked at 9.42min and i got my ippt gold=) haha it was a great sense of satisfaction for me then.... there was also the field camp.... one word, "tough" haha but guess it made me a very positive person cause ya, refer to the above stuff that i said.... well the last notable thing about tekong itself is its beautiful night sky... unlike sg, tekong is dark... there are no lights to interfer at night and you can see all the stars =) really something that stands out in my memories of tekong......
well, 24km route march ended with our pop just a day ago and i must say, i will miss all my army buddies... granted that my bed buddy's a COCK haha =D he'll understand and my mirror buddy is the most famous recuit, or maybe on par with another certain individual.... i definately had a memorable experience in tekong... one that would be etched in my mind forever... btw, my leg has been blister free even after all those marches =D hahahaha
for now, that will be my recap..... life's all above overcoming the rough road in this journey... so i'll take it one step at a time and move on stronger and better with each step.... leaving behind only the foot prints in life....
well there are more stuff that i want to say but just cant get it out of my chest( for this case its fingers) but i'll just say that i'm lost and moodless yet again.... guess its my best friend time that will help me slove my probs again....
